• For any other thickness, multiply or divide by factor. Example: For 9" thick x 4" x 12" block. Factor: 9" divided by 3" = 3. Thus 3 x (3" factor) = 3 x 7.9 = 23.7 gallons. For 1" thick 4" x 12" block: .5 x (2" factor) = .5 x 5.2 = 2.6 gallons
• Calculations include two edges of the 100 sq. ft. Add (.133 x thickness) to gallon figures to get the amount for all edges. Example: 2" thick x .133 = .266 gallons, say .3 gallons. For 4" x 12" blocks, 2" thick, amount will be 5.2 + .3 = 5.5 gallons.
• Figures do not include losses. Add 25% for losses to all figures above or whatever your experience shows.
