Extol Advantages

Extol fabricates Precision Engineered Head Segments to precisely fit the exact curvature of the surface. The heads are numbered and supplied for installation in courses around a center. Costly field fabrication from flat or curved blocks is eliminated. Installation is completed in minimum time and labor expenses reduced.

We produce the largest size insulation pieces available domestically. Installers will have less pieces to handle and less joints to seal on a cold installation.

Further, Extol provides the widest range of sizes in the U. S. We are able to fabricate the smallest to largest sized head in the fewest pieces possible.

A custom factory fabricated pre-formed jacket is available from Extol. Choose Aluminum or PVC to finish your project. These benefits equal additional savings.

The fabrication of each product conforms to the exacting tolerances of ASTM C450 and C585.

Specify your vessel diameter and type of head, the type of material and the thickness of insulation required.

The Extol head segments are double contoured to fit the radius of the tank top or bottom. Each piece edge is beveled to fit the piece next to it. This assures a close, tight fit.

Most insulations are available in half inch increments insulation thickness from 1". Single, double or triple layers of insulation are produced.
